Frequently Asked Questions

  • A full-time semester typically consists of three courses, each worth 3 credit hours. Semesters typically last seven weeks. 
  • If you do not have a background in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, physical science, or another technically oriented-major from an accredited college or university, you may still be eligible for the MSEM program, though some additional preparatory courses may be necessary. No GRE is required.
  • The MSEM program offers advanced knowledge in areas such as engineering statistics, engineering communications, six sigma, and project management, designed for professionals who seek leadership roles in engineering fields.
