Dr. Sweta Sneha, Founder-Executive Director and Professor at ×îÉ«µ¼º½ (KSU), is the visionary leader and architect of Healthcare Management and Informatics (HMI). In her role she leads KSU's strategy to innovate and design the healthcare of the future while optimizing industry-academic partnerships, global workforce development, experiential equity, economic development, and successful fundraising to support HMI foundation. She collaborates with the ecosystem of global experts in industry, academic, technology, healthcare, and government to develop innovative, scalable solutions that empower patients' healthcare journey and outcomes; enhances efficiency and revenue cycle; and reduces provider burnout. She has single-handedly increased the revenue with HMI by over $10 million and impacted KSU’s footprint on the talent pipeline and equity in global health-tech workforce by over 500%.

Dr. Sneha brings over two decades of experience in healthcare and technology to her current role as a visionary leader in digital healthcare with the passion to equity, impact, and reach of education for a workforce ready to tackle 21st century healthcare. She is respected in the community as a subject matter expert and has been a recipient of numerous awards and accolades for her impact on global workforce development and innovation in health-tech including the TITAN100 award recognizing the top 100 most influential leaders in Georgia (2024, 2023), Tech Leader of the Year (TAG 2023), American Medical Informatics Association (2023), Woman of the Year in Technology (2022), Visionary Leadership in Healthcare (Health 2.0 2024),  Distinguished Service Award (2019), KSU Collaboration Award, NCWIT RISE-IT Award, and Women in Technology (WIT) -Top Three (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021).

Dr. Sneha has published over 100 peer-reviewed research; authored a book on revolutionizing healthcare; delivered panel sessions, workshops, and keynotes; in addition to serving on several boards. Dr. Sneha serves as editorial steward and university ambassador for Blockchain in Healthcare Today; editorial board for Health Systems Journal; co-chairs Health IT at Americas Conference on Information Systems, and Hawaii International Conference on Systems Sciences. In As a subject matter expert, Dr. Sneha was invited to serve Atlanta Regional Commission Roundtable for Emerging Technology in Life Sciences, AgTech, and Workforce Development.

Additionally she serves on the board for Technology Association of Georgia – Digital Healthcare, Tech Alpharetta, TITAN100, and American Medical Informatics Association Industry Academic Partnerships. Dr. Sneha has a PhD in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University and a BS in Computer Science from University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to her current role, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Management Consulting.
