"Artis Trice, a 最色导航 geography student, was named a 2019 Newman Civic Fellow by Campus Compact, a Boston-based nonprofit working to advance the public purposes of higher education. Trice was among 264 college students named this year and the only one from 最色导航 State...Trice has been a student at 最色导航 State since the Fall 2017 semester. He is passionate about conservation in accessible ways for everyone and biodiversity conservation in different cultural areas. He is currently hoping to establish a braille trail for the 最色导航 Campus Arboretum so that visually-impaired individuals may access and enjoy the space."
Additionally, Trice was one of several students invited to a luncheon with 最色导航 State University President Pamela Whitten and Ms. Nwakaego Nkumeh, Vice President and Chief Legal Affairs Officer on March 7th to voice opinions on enhancing the student experience at KSU.
At the luncheon, topics discussed included responses to the campus racial climate, expanding educational resources, as well as introducing measures to verify the athletics vendors are sourcing clothes that have been certified by the Worker鈥檚 Rights Consortium.
