    KSU Research Core - Storage

  • Cost: $8,499* per year
    We work with a third party cloud enclave vendor for sensitive data storage and analysis. The price varies based on the processing capabilities of the remote system. The price listed is for a minimal hardware configuration.  There are additional fees for higher resources, extra users and other features.  As long as the cost is covered, there is no specified end date for this storage.

    Utilization of this service requires meetings to discuss security, workflows and compliance for the project before any procurement can begin.

KSU Ceph Storage As part of our NSF Campus Cyberinfrastructure project, the KSU portion of the Ceph storage is available to KSU researchers as a Research Core. $28 per TB per year Service availability based on project budget and service funding dependent.  No sensitive data allowed.
Sensitive Data Storage By working with a cloud enclave vendor, a research core service is offered to provide an environment for storing and analysis of sensitive data.  There are many options and supporting services available for purchase.    Starting at $8,499 Service availability based on project budget. Requires discussions on security, data workflows and compliance before any procurement can begin.
