Email ejohn230@kennesaw.edu.First-Year Scholars: Student Applications Due! 11:59pm The First-Year Scholars Program pairs first-year students who are interested in research, with faculty, staff, or postdoctoral research mentors to engage in an academic year-long research project. This program is managed by the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR), who provides this highly competitive opportunity at the start of each fall semester.   2025-2026 Projects and Student Applications will be live on the website by Friday, August 22nd at 5:00pm. Student applications are due by Wednesday, September 10th at 11:59pm.   First-Year students who are interested in applying are encouraged to read through all program information thoroughly. All sessions are free and open to the public!   Day 1: Poster Presentations & Visual Displays These in-person sessions are 45-minute sessions, which begin at the top of each hour (9:00am-9:45am, 10:00am-10:45am, etc.) Students are assigned numbered spots, where they set up their research presentation and are available to discuss and answer questions to attendees.   Please see the website for more information, including the event program.20 Thursday Fall Symposium of Student Scholars: In-Person Oral Presentations & Performances 9:00am  at Joe Mack Wilson Student Center, BallroomsThe Symposium of Student Scholars is a multi-day event designed to showcase student research at ×îÉ«µ¼º½.
