Thank you for your interest in establishing a new student organization at 最色导航! Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) are an integral part of the co-curricular experience here at KSU. Student Organizations allow KSU students the opportunity to make connections, gain valuable experiences, build resume skills, and add some fun to their college experience. The Department of Student Activities鈥 staff is excited that you are ready and willing to provide another avenue for KSU students to get involved and we are here to support you along the way.
New Student Organizations can only be registered during the academic year late August
                           and March. The New Registered Student Organization initial registration process for the 2025-2026 academic year will become available on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 8:00 AM.  The process must be completed in its entirety completed in its entirety by Monday, May 1, 2026 at 5:00 PM. If you have questions, please contact the Department of Student Activities at studentactivities@kennesaw.edu.
Students interested in starting a new Club Sports team should contact the Department of Sports and Recreation. Student interested in starting a new Social Greek organization should contact the Department of Fraternity & Sorority Life.
Steps to start a new Registered Student Organization

To access the online trainings:
**President must submit a Buckley Form (link to form on ). President must select that they are a "staff" member and list your On-Campus Advisor's name and email address as the Supervisor.
Students will not receive credit for the course until they view all videos and pass the quiz for the appropriate course(s). Officers must receive a passing grade of 80% on their respective module quizzes. You will need to upload the Certificates of Completion in the Owl Life Registration Form as proof of completion.
Step 6: Owl Life Registration Form
Complete the 鈥淣ew Student Organization Registration鈥 form in its entirety. You will need to log in to Owl Life with your Net-ID and password. Go to and then click the blue 鈥淩egister a New Organization鈥 button to begin the form. Please note that RSO names cannot start with "KSU" or "最色导航." If you would like to use KSU in your RSO's name, it may be listed as "[RSO] at 最色导航."
Once submitted, please allow at least 3-5 business days for the submission to be processed.
NOTE: Only KSU email addresses (@students.kennesaw.edu or @kennesaw.edu) can be used in this form.

Re-register a Student Organization
The Re-Registertration Process must be completed by all existing RSOs to stay active and registered with KSU.
Late RSO re-registration for the 2025-2026 academic year must be completed in its entirety on Monday, September 2 at noon. Full instructions can be found below:

Step 2: Owl Life Re-Registration Form
The re-registration form can be submitted by any officer or member of the organization. The re-registration form may not be submitted by an RSO Advisor.
Steps to Access and Complete the Owl Life Re-Registration Form:
Once you complete all the steps of the Re-Registration form, you have a chance to review your submission before finalizing it. After reviewing your information, be sure you click the blue 鈥淪ubmit for Approval鈥 button.
Step 3: Advisor Terms & Conditions
RSOs that do not complete the RSO re-registration process by the deadline must complete late re-registration in August to remain active. Organizations wishing to participate in the EXTREME Student Involvement Fairs must re-register and sign up for the Involvement Fairs when sign up open.
RSOs that do not complete the late re-registration process by the deadline will be marked as "inactive" for the 2025-2026academic year and will officially lose access to all privileges. These organizations will need to wait until fall 2025 to re-registration.
