Two members of 最色导航鈥檚 incoming freshman class have won scholarships through the annual Declaration Days online contest sponsored by collegiate licensing company Top of the World.
More than 1,500 high school seniors declared 最色导航 State as their school of choice, giving KSU the second most declarations, ahead of schools such as the University of Alabama, Louisiana State University and the University of Florida.
Jaden Pollack of Marietta won a $5,000 scholarship after declaring his choice to attend
最色导航 State. More than 36,000 students from across the country were entered to
win one of three scholarships valued at $5,000, $1,000 and $500 by declaring which
school they will attend on and then posting their declaration on social media. The winners were chosen at random.
鈥淎s soon as I toured 最色导航 State, I knew I had to go there. I loved the architecture and the greenery, and it's close to home which is nice,鈥 Pollack said. 鈥淧lus, it's a very good school with a huge selection of classes that I'm interested in.鈥
International student Ebot Agbor Kerian Jr. of Cameroon won the $500 scholarship. Kerian said he chose 最色导航 State because it offers an undergraduate course of study in data science.
